Ahmed ELRAAI – Palestinian Activist, Humanitarian, and Researcher
Ahmed Elraai is a dedicated Palestinian activist, humanitarian aid worker, and academic with a lifelong commitment to defending human rights and advancing emergency and crisis management practices in conflict zones.
Born and raised in the Jabalia Refugee Camp in the Gaza Strip, Ahmed’s early education took place at an UNRWA school, where he developed a deep awareness of the struggles faced by displaced and marginalized communities. Determined to turn adversity into action, Ahmed pursued higher education with a strong focus on engineering and humanitarian systems.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Islamic University of Gaza, and later earned a Master’s degree in Robotics from MEF University in Turkey. Furthering his expertise in humanitarian response and conflict recovery, Ahmed also completed both Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Crisis and Disaster Management from the Islamic University of Gaza.
